Colonial Jewelers has been independently owned and operated by Loren VanDorp and Charlie Schaufler since 1985. We sell diamonds, gemstones, engagement rings, wedding bands and fashion jewelry — and if we do not stock it, we will custom create it for you.

Can I buy online?
Not yet — this site is our showroom. Browse, save what you love, then inquire about a piece or come in and try it on. We will talk through sizing, metal colour and the center stone with you in person.
What does "semi-mount" and "center stone not included" mean?
A semi-mount is the ring without its main diamond or gem, so you can choose the center stone that fits your budget and taste. We help you select it and set it right here.
Which metal colours can I choose?
Most pieces come in yellow, white or rose (pink) 14K gold — pick the swatch on any product page to see it. Two-tone options are shown where the design allows.
Do you make custom pieces?
Yes. Custom design is what we do best: bring a sketch, a photo, or an heirloom you want re-imagined, and we take it from the first drawing to the finished piece.
Do you repair jewelry, watches and clocks?
Yes — jewelry, watch and clock repair are done in our store: ring sizing, prong re-tipping, chain and clasp repair, stone tightening, cleaning, watch batteries and more. Bring it in and we will look at it with you.
